ah Marie!

here is my third and last portrait for this serie about the Prix Jeune Création Metiers d’Art (Young Creation Work of Art Price) winners.

Marie was waiting for me in her workshop the door step in Bordeaux , a bit concerned. At the end, the same scheme “I didn’t piffle that much, did I?” of course not Marie! I loved her mix of softness and passion. this so particular state of mind.

I also loved her manner of being affected by things, whatever it might be, souvenirs or little birds skulls found here and there. the meticulous material assemblages,  of colors, of technics, show of much Marie is the craftswoman of her own life.

Marie will be exposed with the others winners 2017 from the 24th of April to the 5th of August at EMPREINTES, 5 Rue de Picardie, 75003 Paris. She will also have a corner in Révélations from the 4th to the 8th of May 2017 at the Grand Palais.
